“The Blues had a baby and named it rock n roll.” Others say they named him JONNY LANG. Hailed as a Blues prodigy, the 28- year old with the screaming Telecaster became a professional musician at the age of 12.  Notable for both his unusual voice and his guitar prowless, LANG has been on  the road since his now platinum debut Lie to Me, touring with giants like BB King, The Rolling Stones and Areosmith, when friends were still in high school.  He has since released three more CDs, including the Grammy winning Turn Around.

How cool is Robert Cray?. He is multiple Grammy award winner, and can com- municate with an audience, with his all-star band, without uttering a word - while his guitar whispers to fans. But concertgoers can expect plenty of time to rock as well,  when the bluesman plays Star Plaza Theatre with a new rhythm section and songs from a recently released CD entitled This Time. According to the book Guinness Rockopedia, "the 1980s 'blues revival' revolved around Cray. Not only has he won approval from the old guard like Eric Clapton, but has been embraced a younger generation who have pushed him in to the platinum bracket.
